Rebecca and other Radler White attorneys played a significant role representing the developers of South Waterfront, a $2 billion, multi-phase, public/private project that is the largest urban redevelopment in the history of Portland, Oregon. The project encompasses approximately 33 acres of former "brownfield" land along the Willamette River just south of Downtown Portland. A complex public/private development agreement guides the project. The agreement provided for the construction of the first aerial tram built in the United States in decades; an extension of Portland's vaunted streetcar line; a public park and riverfront greenway; multiple high-rise residential towers; and affordable housing.
Prior to joining Radler White, Rebecca was a founding partner of Barg Tom PC, a Portland real estate law firm. From 1999 to 2007, she practiced real estate law with Ball Janik LLP.
A sixth generation Oregonian and descendant of Oregon Territory pioneers, Rebecca enjoys running, camping and traveling with her family. She served as a director and officer for the board of directors of the Theodore Roosevelt Women's Scholarship Association, a scholarship fund for female graduates of Roosevelt High School in Portland, Oregon, Rebecca's alma mater.
