Local Attorneys Form New Real Estate and Land Use Law Firm, Radler White Parks & Alexander LLP

A group of accomplished Oregon attorneys announced today the formation of a new law firm, Radler White Parks & Alexander LLP, dedicated to offering clients industry-leading legal services in real estate, land use and related corporate matters. The firm’s headquarters office is located at 111 SW Columbia Street, Suite 1100, Portland, OR 97201. The firm’s Central Oregon office is at 264 NW Irving Avenue, Suite 1, Bend, Oregon 97701.

Radler White brings together a highly regarded team of real estate, land use and corporate attorneys with decades of experience and a strong track record of success for clients. The new firm will offer strategic counsel and transactional support for real estate and land use projects, representing both private developers and public clients.

The Real Estate practice will provide high-level strategic counsel and transactional support to private developers and public institutions, and other owners, landlords .and tenants of real estate. Specialty areas include commercial and residential development, commercial leasing, debt and equity financing, tax-deferred exchanges, public/private partnerships, and workouts.

The Land Use practice will counsel clients through the entire life span of a development project, from initial planning through entitlement to the defense of approvals on appeal if necessary. Other specialty areas include strategic development planning, quasi-judicial and legislative review, procedural alternatives, development agreements, land division, residential, office, and retail development, institutional master planning, infrastructure, development charges .and urban growth management.

Radler White’s Corporate practice will emphasize transactions and projects involving real estate. Specialty areas include acquisitions, entity structuring and formation, private real estate offerings, and reorganization and restructuring.

ATTORNEYS

Barbara Radler (Partner) has practiced law in Portland, Oregon since 1982. Her practice focuses on sophisticated real estate transactions, leasing, financing, acquisitions, sales, and the law affecting real estate brokers and property managers. She has assisted clients with some of the region’s largest and most complex real estate projects. Barbara is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Since 2003, she has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America and as an industry leader in real estate by Chambers USA. Oregon Super Lawyers has listed her as one of Oregon’s top 25 women lawyers and one of Oregon’s top 50 real estate lawyers. Christen White (Partner) joins Radler White after building her own successful land use practice, which she launched in 2009. She has been ranked by Chambers USA as one of Oregon’s leading land use lawyers. Christe’s tenacity and sense of fair dealing have allowed her to attract and retain some of the region’s most prominent public and private clients. She is widely regarded as an industry expert in seeking, obtaining .and defending development approvals for her clients.

Tim Parks (Partner) provides comprehensive, business-oriented counsel that includes the ability to assess the tax implications, investment risks .and financial opportunities of a wide range of business and real estate transactions. Steven Hultberg (Of Counsel) has practiced real estate and land use law for more than 15 years. He is located in Radler White’s office in Bend, Oregon. Steve has significant land use entitlement experience, including practice before local governments, administrative agencies, and appellate courts. He has also developed broad real estate transactional knowledge, working on financing documents, purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and easements.
