Radler White Parks & Alexander LLP Adds Attorney and Paralegal to Support 2017 Growth
Portland real estate and land use law firm Radler White Parks& Alexander LLP is pleased to announce that it has hired Renee M. France in an Of Counsel position and Ruthe Warden as a Paralegal to provide increased support to its clients. Since its formation in 2012, Radler White has grown from five to ten attorneys and has become a recognized industry leader from its offices in Portland and Bend. To accommodate this growth, the firm has expanded its lease in the Portland office and as of July 1, 2017, will be located at 111 SW Columbia, Suite 700, Portland, Oregon 97201.

RENEE M. FRANCE, OF COUNSEL
Renee M. France is Of Counsel in the firm’s Land Use Practice Group. She has more than 15 years of experience in land use, natural resources, and environmental law, both in private practice and most recently with the Oregon Department of Justice.
Ms. France has helped clients obtain land use permits and development entitlements for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, resort and utility developments. She has advised private and public clients on a wide range of federal, state, and local land use and environmental issues, including wetlands regulation, contaminated property liability and clean-up laws, the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act. Ms. France has also represented clients in land use and environmental hearings and appeals.
Prior to joining Radler White, Ms. France served for four and a half years as Senior Assistant Attorney General with the Oregon Department of Justice, where she was the Primary Contact Counsel for the Oregon Department of Energy and the Oregon Energy Facility Siting Council. She provided legal advice to the Department of Energy on a wide variety of administrative law issues, and served as legal counsel to the Energy Facility Siting Council and the Department of Energy Siting Division on complex and often high-profile energy facility siting applications. She was also lead counsel for the Department of Energy in contested case proceedings for the energy facility site certificate process.
Ms. France received her J.D. cum laude from the Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College, where she was Associate Editor of the Environmental Law Journal. She received her B.A. cum laude in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in Environmental Science and played Division 1 women’s soccer.
RUTHE WARDEN, PARALEGAL
Ruthe Warden has nearly 15 years of experience in real estate development, property management, and project management. She assists all of Radler White’s attorneys with entity formation, corporate governance, acquisitions and dispositions, title and survey review, land use due diligence and other general real estate, land use and corporate matters. She also assists the firm’s attorneys with the formation and representation of condominium and homeowner associations.
Prior to joining Radler White, Ms. Warden served for two years as a general manager with Portland-based Gerding Edlen, one of the leading real estate development firms in the Pacific Northwest. She has also managed a portfolio of high-rise, mixed-use urban properties for Multi-Services Inc., and served as a cross-functional team member for Hoyt Street Properties in the development, construction, and management of a world-class urban neighborhood in Portland’s Pearl District.
Ms. Warden earned her A.A.S. with highest honors in Paralegal Studies from Portland Community College and her B.S. magna cum laude in Social Sciences from Portland State University.
