Radler White Parks & Alexander LLP Adds Zoee Lynn Powers as Associate Attorney
Portland real estate and land use law firm Radler White Parks & Alexander LLP is pleased to announce that Zoee Lynn Powers has joined the firm as an Associate in its Portland office. She is a member of the firm’s Land Use and Real Estate practice groups.
Ms. Powers recently completed one year of service as a Law Clerk to Chief Justice Thomas A. Balmer of the Oregon Supreme Court, where she assisted in researching, writing and editing opinions, and recommended action on petitions for review. She was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in October 2014 and has been a digest writer for the Real Estate and Land Use Section.

Ms. Powers earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in May 2014. Her honors included Order of the Coif, Dean’s List, and selection as a Global Law Scholar. She served as Editor in Chief of the Georgetown Journal of International Law and completed more than 125 hours of pro bono service, in part through Whitman Walker’s Social Security Initial Applications Clinic. In the spring of 2014, she was selected to participate in Georgetown’s Social Enterprise and Nonprofit Law Clinic, where she assisted clients with forming and maintaining businesses and nonprofit organizations.
In 2013, Ms. Powers was a summer associate with Holland & Hart LLP in Denver, CO, where she wrote memoranda on energy law, real estate seller liability, and municipal property regulations. In the fall of 2012, she was an Immigration Intern at Ayuda, Inc. in Washington, D.C., individually managing a caseload of six immigration clients under attorney supervision. Ms. Powers traveled to Quito, Ecuador in the summer of 2012 to serve as an intern with International Rights Advocates. In that role, she prepared memoranda on civil litigation topics and wrote contracts in Spanish and English.
In June 2009, Ms. Powers received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Denver. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and served as President of the University of Denver Volunteers. In 2009, Ms. Powers worked with the City of Denver to create a bike sharing pilot program that has grown into “Denver B-cycle”– a system featuring 84 stations with more than 700 bikes averaging more than 1000 rides per day. www.denverbcycle.com.
